Physical Engineering Education and Job

Physical engineering was divided into two kind of education level, Diploma Engineers (FH) for Physical Engineering and bachelor degree. Bachelor degree mostly taught practice-oriented and theoretically founded subjects the student acquires a broad range of knowledge and skills which provide for great job flexibility.

For the diploma education will study on the following durations:

• 3 semesters for basic studies concluding with Pre-Diploma or engineering base.
• 5 semesters for main studies including one internship semester (6th semester) and writing of the diploma thesis in one field of the specialty chosen

The education in diploma mostly full with many kinds of training that is related to their subject. During the basic studies period, the student receives a broadly conceived fundamental training in mathematics, natural sciences and engineering. In addition, basic knowledge of economics is imparted. The basic studies include classes in foreign languages. The basic studies period concludes with obtaining the Pre-Diploma.

Specialist on training will choose by the student for example as the following subject:

• Laser Engineering
• Medical Engineering
• Photonics
• Computer hardware
• Etc.

While for the next 6^th semester, the student perform a practical work in a company, an institution or an administrative agency or in an engineering office.

Work position open for Diploma Engineer for Physical Engineering (FH) such as in research and development, design, manufacture, environmental protection, in administrations, marketing and after-sales service as well as in clinics.

Mostly student that graduated from diploma was worked at industry company. He can do the jobs related with the application or introduction into the manufacturing process, of physical technologies or findings. The Diploma Engineer also able to work as a self-employed or as a freelancer in his/her specialty.
