In university we know there is an Industrial Engineering class that study of many subject that related to industrial management job. But many of the subjects are not study in detail and rather bias to what is the certain goal of this class.
As the Wikipedia definition that Industrial engineering is a branch of engineering dealing with the organization of complex process or systems. This is concern to the development, improvement, implementation of integral systems of people, money, knowledge, information, equipment, energy, materials, analysis and synthesis, as well as the mathematical, physical and social sciences together with the principle and method of engineering design to specify, predict, and evaluate the result to obtain from such systems or processes.
To understand all the subject as the description above, I think need tenth of years to understand each of the subject effectively. Actually people who learn of this study just using their logic to manage all those subject integrated, but they will not be able to make a true decision if involved an information technology, equipment, energy, material and many others. Each subject will just understand by specialist people who learn those subject. Industrial engineering just can use their logic to take a decision base on mathematical calculation. Not all the problem on work can be determine by mathematics but, many of them just can be taken by experience people.
So the job of Industrial Engineering will very difficult for new graduate, they need many years to understand the scope of all their work.
